 We
at Hopewell believe
Praise and worship is a vital,
integral part of our spiritual life. It serves as as outward
expression of our gratitude and thanks to God for all that
He has done for us. It provides us an opportunity to honor
Him corporately, with one voice, as well as on a personal,
more intimate level. Using a contemporary musical style, the
purpose of our praise and worship is to lift up the name of
Jesus and usher in the glory of God. To approach the throne
of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4: 16) and “see Him face
to face”. We long to take our rightful place – bowed at His
feet and to give Him the glory that is due His Name (Psalms
29: 2). We want our worship to be “not what God can give us,
but what we can give Him.”
“ Come let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the
Lord our God our Maker. For He is our God and we are the
people of His pasture.” Psalms 9: 5-6

Ministry
Our heart for lyrical dance, flag and banner worship
ministry is to glorify God in an atmosphere of creative
worship, spiritual warfare and visionary intercession using
biblical instruments of praise and the art of lyrical dance
movements within the church body where God's people may be
edified; to demonstrate victory in Jesus Christ in an
atmosphere of praise and worship ministry by announcing the
good news of the gospel and spiritual healing to the
brokenhearted while proclaiming freedom to those still
captivated by darkness within the community where the last
may be saved;
to honor
the Spirit of God in an atmosphere of unity and peace where
the presence of the LORD inhabits the praises of His people
as we restore creative worship to its rightful place in the
kingdom of God.
